AnyPS5 Troubleshooting & Error Diagnostic Center
AnyPS5 operates as a native PlayStation 5 binary relinker. When guest games invoke unimplemented system routines, the executable aborts immediately with std::runtime_error and outputs diagnostic telemetry to stderr.

Four Core Runtime Error Guides
AnyPS5 std::runtime_error Fix - How to Capture stderr & Debug Startup Crash
AnyPS5 is a native binary relinker rather than a classic JIT/HLE emulator. Any unhandled or unimplemented guest PS5 state strictly throws std::runtime_error and writes the exact what() payload to standard error (stderr) before terminating.
./game_executable.exe 2> error.logUnimplemented core/libs/prx Symbols: Blocker PRX Resolution Matrix
When a game invokes a PS5 dynamic module function that is not yet implemented in AnyPS5's core/libs/prx subsystem, the runtime aborts with "what(): core/libs/prx: Unimplemented function <symbol_name>".

Recent upstream commits (post-v0.1.1) enforce strict hardware controller polling requirements. CMake now checks for SDL2 HIDAPI support and will fail if the system SDL2 library lacks USB/Bluetooth joystick descriptor access.
cmake -B build -S . -DANYPS5_ENABLE_SPIRV_TOOLS=ONPre-Unpacking & Format Errors: pkg-to-anyps5 and unself.py Compliance
AnyPS5 is strictly a relinker and cannot ingest encrypted PlayStation 5 retail PKG or SELF containers. Assets and binaries must be legally dumped and decrypted from your own console before relinking.
